The Rev. Suzann V. Holding
Rector

The Rev. Suzann Holding became priest-in-charge at the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour in January, 2003 and was called as Rector in June, 2004. Prior to serving at Our Saviour, she was Associate Rector at Trinity Episcopal Church in Wheaton, Il for 3 and a half years. She received her Masters in Divinity in June, 1999 from Seabury Western Theological Seminary and was ordained to the transitional diaconate two weeks later. She was ordained priest by Bishop William Persell, Dioceses of Chicago, on December 18, 1999. Suzi brings her joy and enthusiasm, her warmth and compassion, and her passion for encouraging the ministry and enlivening the faith of all to our community.

Prior to following a call to ordained ministry, Suzi spent 17 years in marketing services, in positions ranging from marketing to account management. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from DePauw University in Greecastle, IN and a Masters in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, AZ.

Originally from Cincinnati, OH and St. Louis, MO, Suzi now lives in Glen Ellyn, IL with her husband of 22 years, their two teen age children, a frisky shepherd-husky mix named Maverick and a more docile guinea pig named Evie. When she is away from the parish, she enjoys gardening, reading, spending time with family and friends, and catching up on movies.
