Baptism
Baptism is celebrated at The Episcopal Church of Our Saviour in the context of the Public liturgy. The Book of Common Prayer suggests that the
Feast of the Baptism of our Lord, the Great Vigil of Easter, the Day of Pentecost, the Feast of All Saints, and the Visitation of the Bishop are especially appropriate times for Baptism. Baptism instruction for parents and godparents is required. This can be arranged through the parish office.
Illnesses
Persons entering the hospital or who are ill should notify the parish office. The Sacrament is taken to the sick and the convalescing on a regular basis. Please let us know if there is someone who ought to be on the schedule.
Deaths
On the occasion of death, the clergy should be notified as soon as possible before funeral arrangements are finalized.
Marriages
Inquires regarding marriage should be made well in advance of the anticipated date. There is a time of preparation required of each couple. |
